Scripture – “Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord.” Acts 3:19
Thought – I saw a license plate that said “ 0 Repentance.” I thought, “how sad”. God doesn’t call us to repentance to condemn or shame us, but to free us from the weight of our sin and guilt.
Prayer – Lord, remind us repentance is for our benefit, to free us from the oppressive weight of our sin and so our souls can be cleansed.
