Weather Report From Heaven: Sunny and bright, with an abundance of light and lots of singing and rejoicing.

Scripture-  “ But the day of the Lord will come like a thief. The heavens will disappear with a roar; the elements will be destroyed by fire, and the earth and everything done in it will be laid bare.”- 2 Peter 3:10

Thought of the Day-  There is a lot of debate right now about what is fake news and what is real news, based on political parties and which news channels you watch. This is subjective and all driven by political division and discord. But no such ambiguity exists in the Bible. The real news, which is very good news for all who believe, is that Jesus died for forgiveness of our sins for all who call him Lord (Romans 5:8), was raised from the dead after 3 days and is alive today (1 Peter 1:3, Matthew 27:53) and sits at the right hand of the Father (Romans 8:34, Hebrews 12:2) on His Eternal Throne, and is coming back to earth one day to judge all things (2 Timothy 4:1) and make all things new. (Revelation 21:5)

This is the only real news that matters in the end. Everything else is fake news, just a distraction from the enemy to keep our minds off of Jesus and on to things that will not matter at all in the end. So, it’s all fake news compared to the real and great news of Jesus’s return one day to undo all the injustice that has taken place on the earth and restore all things to their rightful state.Then, the only question that will matter is will you be ready when He returns? The Scripture above from 2 Peter 3:10 says He will “come like a thief in the night.” In other words, there will be no warning. Everything else will in an instance be truly fake news.
