Weather Report From Heaven: Sunny and bright, with an abundance of light and lots of singing and rejoicing.
Scripture- “Deep calls to deep in the roar of your waterfalls; all your waves and breakers have swept over me.”- Psalm 42:7
Insight: There is always a deeper level of trust with God, one that we must constantly be seeking, as the storms of life come and test our faith. Deeper still he calls us in our trust. Deeper still He calls us in our surrender. Deeper still He calls us in our lessons and learning. You know how God recently revealed to me that I needed to go deeper in my trust of Him? He showed me the burdens I was carrying. You can’t have deep trust and latch on to your burdens simultaneously. Either you trust Him and release your burdens to Him or you are trying to carry the heavy load yourself. Matthew 11:28-30 suddenly had new meaning to me: “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.” I had burdens because my trust wasn’t deep enough. How about you? Is there anything you need to release into God’s loving and capable hands?
