Weather Report From Heaven: Sunny and bright, with an abundance of light and lots of singing and rejoicing.
Scripture – “Exalted to the right hand of God, he has received from the Father the promised Holy Spirit and has poured out what you now see and hear.”- Acts 2:33
Insight: America is a land on the brink of implosion. The only thing that can save us is a pouring out of the Holy Spirit across our land through Christ Jesus, as people fall on their knees and repent of the sins that are in each of our hearts so Christ can save us. We have turned away from God, thrown Him out of our Country, and now we are in real trouble. We are in the process of reaping what we have sown, and time is of the utmost urgency. We must acknowledge our own sin on an individual basis, so Christ can collectively heal our land. We must acknowledge Romans 3:23 which says “for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” God can still relent, if we earnestly repent. He has relented before when His people have repented and turned back to Him.
The classic story is in the book of Jonah, where God sent Jonah to preach against the wicked city of Nineveh, “Go to the great city of Nineveh and preach against it, because its wickedness has come up before me.”- Jonah 1:2 After trying to flee from God’s commands and doing his best to run as far away in the other direction of God’s intended destiny for Him, Jonah repented and obeyed God and faithfully carried out His task, (Jonah 3:3) although it was hardly what he wanted to do. But because of his faithfulness, and the testimony Jonah spoke against Nineveh, the King and the people of the city of Nineveh repented and God relented from His anger, and did not destroy it. His compassion was poured out on it, and they received more time to turn to the Lord.( Jonah 4:11) I feel like America is in our Nineveh moment. We need to turn back to the Lord before it is too late. We have killed over 70 million unborn babies in this Country through legalized abortion, and God’s judgement is coming. We can’t avoid it, but we can repent and pray that He relents. With our new time, maybe we will make our Country the one that turns away from its sin, and turns back to God just in the nick of time.
