Weather Report From Heaven: Sunny and bright, with an abundance of light and lots of singing and rejoicing.

Scripture-  “Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had its foundation on the rock.” – Matthew 7:24-25

Insight: Sometimes I feel stuck on life’s journey, like I am in a rut and can’t get out. The distractions of the world seem to sap my energy and make me lose focus on all that I’m trying to accomplish. Do you ever feel like this? If so, it is important to know that as long as we have time left on the clock, God is not done with us yet. He will continue to grow and refine us throughout our life journey, and sometimes He uses large obstacles to grow our faith. When things seem too big for us, that is when he can show us His real power in our lives. Sometimes, the breaking point in our lives becomes the turning point. Sometimes we have to come to the end of ourselves, so we can realize how much we need to depend on Him. Are you there yet?

If so, it could be a great time to surrender to Jesus and let Him begin to remake you in His image. He promises to complete the work he began in you until He comes again, in Philippians 1:6, which says “being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.” This only starts when we admit that He is the Potter and we are the clay. Isaiah 64:8 says it this way: “Yet you, Lord, are our Father. We are the clay, you are the potter; we are all the work of your hand.” This may require us to be broken down, so he can rebuild us stronger and more dependent on Him, which in the end is the only thing that will allow us to navigate these very troubled times. So, if you are weak from fear right now, then it could be that you are in a position to feel God’s enormous power in your life, maybe for the very first time. Admit how much you need Him, and invite Him in. He promises He will answer your call for help (Matthew 7:7), and begin to restore your life on His firm foundation (Matthew 7:24-25) I have admitted that alone I am too weak and fearful to make it through the storms of this life right now  and only He can provide me with what I need, which is the strength that comes from His promises found in His word in the Bible. That is the firm foundation on which we can stand! How about you?
